DQ

Instead of posting more pictures of our swimming adventures I will post what we did after swimming last night! Dairy Queen! YUM!!! When I was pregnant with the boys I would have to BEG Justin to go to DQ. Last night it was all his idea and the boys and I just couldn't argue! Taylor and Braxton loved their Oreo blizzard! I am ready for another one!! Taylor and Mom

Baking Bread

This morning we got up (way to early in my opinion, 6:30) had breakfast and decided to make bread for Justin since we will be gone for the next few weeks. The boys have enjoyed baking with me lately.
They especially love watching the mixer go round and round Taylor
Braxton
Now we need to find something to occupy our time inside this afternoon. It is way to hot to play outside without being at the pool.

Swimming...what else do we do?

Yesterday we spent all day at the pool. We all needed naps and were ready for bed by 7 but we had a good time. Taylor usually wonders around the pool, playing in the grass and throwing bark onto the tennis courts and Braxton doesn't get out of the pool. He is our fish!Goggles!
Today we called Elliott and Quinn (Grandma and Kim too) to see if they wanted to join us for an afternoon swim and dinner. These boys get along well and had a great time playing in the pool. Afterwards Grandma treated us to yummie pizza. Thanks for coming guys! These three could get into some serious trouble together :-)

I know I have blogged way too many times in the last two days but this was BIG NEWS!
Taylor peed on the potty for the first time today! YIPPIE!!!
Braxton on the other hand peed on the floor. Guess it is a step closer to the potty :-)
Am I ready for potty training? Yes and No!

My First Quilts

Camille is having a quilt parade! What a fun idea!
I really do love my first quilt.
The back is ugly and the stippling is so bad but it was my first one and I loved the fabric! So this quilt is almost my next one done :-) Is that cheating? I just need to bind it but I haven't had time since we moved. LOVE IT!
I had to add this top too because I made a matching one in hopes of one day having a little girl to use them on. Well, we are having twin girls so I am soooo glad that I have two!
So what did I learn on my quilting road?
NEVER CUT OFF EXTRA FABRIC ON THE BACK BECAUSE YOUR QUILT WILL JUST FALL APART! (I did that on my second quilt and could kick myself because it is my little boys favorite blanket and it is falling apart now)

New cribs

I don't know if I ever mentioned that my cribs were re-called, ok, I know I did, but today I found my perfect new cribs for my girls! I called Justin to make sure he was ok with whatever I would choose, didn't hear back from him, and decided I didn't care :-) j/k
I knew he wouldn't care as long as I was happy and it stayed in the credit $ we recieved for the re-called cribs. I LOVE them!! I am so excited to get them in 7-10 days and put them up in our little girls room!

Random pictures

The other night Justin was out changing the license plates on the car (Chad, we are official Utards :-) The boys grabbed their tools and set out to help. After Braxton fought his nightly fight to get in bed we went in to check on him and there we found him with his "boops" on. They pick these out to wear everyday but I can usually talk them out of wearing them out in public.
The boys love to play sports. Lately they have been asking Justin to "shoot hoops" so last night we went and picked up a second basketball and headed over to the park to play!
They had a great time.

What do you do when you have no money for lunch but Chik-Fil-A, a Dr. Pepper, and a picnic with your boys just sounds so good?? You scrounge up all the change you have and go get lunch anyways :-) I gave the poor lady 5 dollars in change and the food was way yummie!

I like to shop...

Who doesn't??
I still haven't hung much on my walls because I didn't have just what I wanted. Today I found it! This cute wire decoration to go above my cute new picture frames that have my cute new pictures in them that need hung up! I need to go back and get two more frames to be ready when these little girls get here.
While I was at Hobby Lobby (new love, they have EVERYTHING and I didn't know about them) I found some cute flowers that I decided I could make into hair bows. Well, they are done and sooooo cute! I am so excited to have little girls to put bows on. Now they only need to have hair :-)
Now I just need to go and find me one of these frames and make me the cutest bow holder ever!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July in Idaho Falls. It is the first time I have been to Idaho Falls on the 4th in 4 years. We got up and went to my parent's ward breakfast that my dad put on. Yummie food. Then we decided to hit the parade. Justin had never been to the IF parade and he said he hadn't been missing anything :-) The boys were ready to leave 20 minutes before the parade ended so we left and got some fireworks for Justin to play with.
Taylor and Braxton enjoying a messy ice cream bar(Deep down he really liked it :-) ha ha)
After the parade we went back to my parents and had a blast playing in the warm sun. You never know what kind of weather you are going to get in Idaho Falls so we were grateful that it was nice!

On our way to the fireworks we lost everyone and decided it was easier with the boys to just find somewhere to sit and call it good. We talked dad into meeting us in the field with his truck. I have learned I get my hate for crowds from him! I didn't enjoy the mess of all the people this year. Must be getting grumpy in my old age. :-) Or I just knew my boys wouldn't last very long and wouldn't make all my efforts worth while. We didn't have great seats but we could see enough. About 15 minutes into the show the boys were "All Done!" We packed up and beat the crowds out and went home to enjoy some fireworks of our own.

We had a great weekend! Thanks everyone! Can't wait to come back and play some more!!

July 3rd

We went over to Hatch's Friday night for a yummie dinner and some fireworks. The boys thought the fireworks were great! Dan, Elliott, Callie, Braxton, Jalayne, Taylor, and JustinTaylorTay watching with daddyCallie got these "snake" fireworks that were pretty funny. The three boys lvoed them.Sparklers right before the small accident...

We only had one MINOR accident over the 4th. Taylor had his own sparkler and was doing great with it. I let him do it by himself so I could get a few pictures and as it was going out, he touched the flame. I felt terrible but he is doing fine. He tells me when it hurts and when it needs a band aid! Brave boy! (it's the middle finger, just not a grea picture)
