Idaho Falls Zoo

This morning we got up and ventured out to the zoo. It was pretty fun because it was the first time I have actually seen the animals so active. Guess they are morning animals. We only got a few pictures but here they are... Clark, Braxton, Taylor and Justin

14 Months old

I can't believe that my little boys are 14 months old. They are getting so big so fast. We have so much fun and love having them in our home. Braxton is still more energetic and keeps us on our toes. Taylor is very laid back for the most part. They play well together and get into trouble together too. They love being outside. Braxton points to everything he wants with a little grunt. Taylor is pretty quiet but when he wants to be heard he lets us know.
Here are some fun pictures from tonight!
The boys love to run! Justin hold their hands and runs with their little feet going so fast. They giggle the whole time.

Things that will be missed

The time has come for us to leave SLC. We have loved the time we have spent here but also are ready to go on with the next phase of our summer. Justin is done working on Friday and then time to play. We have Justin's family reunion in Island Park for 5 days, Chad's wedding in Portland and then a week before Chad's reception in Idaho Falls. Then off to Spokane. We are ready to go home. It gets hard living with out your things and being in your own element.
I did this before we left Spokane and though I would do it again.
Things we are looking forward to...
...My bed! I have missed my comfy bed and lots of pillows
...my clothes that I forgot to bring, or didn't have room for
...my computer
...all our movies
...swimming pool in our courtyard. We did have the lake but I wasn't gonna swim in it :-)
...Justin FINAL year of law school
...cooking in my own kitchen. It just isn't the same when using someone else things
...our friends

Things we will miss...
...living with Grandpa and Clarine, and Evelyn and Diane while they are here
...going upstairs to talk to someone that can talk back
...people helping me with my boys. My boys have loved being around everyone
...having someone else doing with the cooking and cleaning. We took turns and it worked out great.
...Holverson's
...Lucherini's
...being closer to home, even though we didn't get to go there as much as we wanted to
...Trips to all the fun stores around here. We don't have real great shopping in Spokane. especially the Carter's store. I love that store.
...Splash pool and other fun pools
...riding my bike with Justin (while he runs) because there was someone home with the boys
...Grocery shopping without the boys
...feeding the fish on the dock with the boys

Seems that we will be missing lots when we leave. We are looking forward to the next part of our adventure. Only one more year in Spokane and we plan to make the most of it.

Yesterday Em and the kids came out and we went to the pool. We had lots of fun. Braxton loves the water. He was jumping in (well, not so much jumping but walking in), putting his face under the water, and not waiting for me to get in the water. He is fearless!!! Taylor on the other hand barley will sit in the water. It was a little cold so he wouldn't get in. He is just as happy sitting on the side lines as being in the game. He finally feel asleep and then after a snack kinda played in the water. I put floaties on Braxton and he hated them. He didn't like his tube either.

Attempted Family Pictures

Moutain Dew anyone? Taylor found a can and finished it off, mostly on the floor but he sucked out every bit that was left. After he was done with it Brax had a turn. I am pretty sure it was all gone by then but it didn't stop him from trying to get a taste.

After Kamdon's birthday dinner we went out to take family pictures. These are the best we got with what we were working with. My boys HATE pictures. They don't hold still and won't smile and look at the camera at the same time. We did get a few good ones. I am excited to PhotoShop them and see what I get. Thanks Em for taking pictures. I hope your turned out good too. Braxton

Weekend full of fun

We had lots of fun this weekend. Friday started out with fun at the pool with Diane and Evelyn. The boys did really well and played in the water, walked around checking out other peoples food and went down the water slide. Taylor of course did not love the water slide. I took him on it a couple times and he cried.
I can't tell but I think this is Braxton
and this is Taylor

We love to get ice cream. It was so hot Friday night that Justin asked if we could go get ice cream. Usually I have to ask to go and get told no but he said it was so hot that it was an ice cream day. I will never pass up ice cream. My boys getting distracted by the cat.

On Saturday we got up early and drove to Preston to see my grandparents. We had fun stopping by to say hi! Hopefully it wont be too long until we get to see you again. :-)

After Preston we went to Logan for lunch with some friends. Being back in Logan made me actually miss it a little. We liked Logan but when we left I wasn't sad to go. After being back I do miss the feel of a little town.
