My Christmas Tree

Last year Justin won this Christmas tree at work. I had only seen it wrapped in plastic and sitting in our basement closet. Chad and Justin helped Justin bring it up to the living room on Thanksgiving and I LOVE IT!! I removed most the birds (it was a Festival of Tree's tree) that were on there and added our ornaments and it looks great. The picture isn't very good but the tree is awesome!

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

We have had a ton of snow over the last week and a half. It's been crazy here. Justin had to leave work early last Tuesday because of a blizzard that was coming through. He didn't go into work on Wed. either so it was an extra long Thanksgiving break. Great way to start the Holidays!
Callers watching the boys.
Avri watching out the window.
She would have loved going out there but the mama wasn't going to do that one!
Braxton jumping off the patioTaylor jumping off the stairs.
Shortly after this he was playing and fell off into the bushes.
Taylor digging out our garage with dad You can't really tell from the picture but the snow is up to Braxton's gloves. It was so much snow!
DIG! DIG! DIG!

Pig Tails

I love playing with my girls hair. They don't have much but I can get Macall's into pig tails now. Love it!! Avri's is still thin but I managed to get pig tails in her hair too! They don't mind me doing their hair which is great cause I love to play with it.

TSO

Last night Justin and I went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Winter concert. It was awesome! We had a great time and enjoyed the music. Justin loves their music and was so excited when we got the tickets. I was impressed with the majority of the show. About 10:45 I was beat so we left a little early. Still not a late nighter! :-)

Pictures courtesy of Justin's i-phone. Not great quality.

Girls 1 year Dr visit

Avri
weight: 22 lbs = 67%
height: 31 1/2 inches = 99%
head: 46 1/2 cm = 87%
Macall
weight: 21.9lbs = 65%
height: 30 1/2 inches = 90%
head: 45 cm = 49%

On Monday the girls had their 1 year exam. All went well until the vaccines came out. They did good and calmed down when I pulled out a sucker. Then the Dr wanted to test their iron and make sure they aren't anemic. Why I let them do it I don't know. They had to draw a vile of blood while I was holding them down. SAD! Avri went first and was so mad but did great. They couldn't find Macall's veins, in either arm, so I have to go back and re do it. I don't know if I will. Is it that important??
They are growing fast and great! The Dr was a little worried when Macall's weight went down but she is walking now and no worries, that girl can eat!!!

Out of the mouth of babes...

With my boys it can be scary what comes out of their mouths. They are loud, crazy, and funny as can be. I have had a list going for the last couple weeks of the funny things they come up with. Here we go...
*Mom, I will call the cops and you will go to jail!
*I like to bug my brother! It's fun!
*When they are wrestling downstairs I always hear, I am Nacho and you are the crazy guy.
*Only big boys mom.
*Not sisters!!
*Let's wrestle
*Just 1 boy.
*Let me think
*They call girls ladies
* Burn, baby, Burn!!!
*I don't care
*But Braxton isn't
*I never had that
* We are mans
*Daddy didn't give me a vitamin "last night" last night is always the way they talk in the past!
*While looking at the small Christmas tree Braxton said, Oh mom! It's fabulous! and Taylor said It's perfect mom!
*Taylor always starts out by saying Mom or Dad and ends with Mom or Dad.
If you know us well enough you can probably figure out where they are getting some of the stuff they say!
Thanks for always making me laugh munchkins!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

The "sockings" have been hung...The house has been lighted...And the small Christmas tree is up in the boys room... Justin won't let me put the big tree up until after Thanksgving. Plus we need some muscles to do it. Aren't you glad you are staying with us Jus! :-)
If you could hear and smell my house you would also know Christmas music is being played (once again while Justin isn't home) and the smells from my yummie candles are burning.
I love the holidays! Bring on the snow!!

Cabella's with Dad

One of the boys (including Justin) favorite place to go is Cabella's. Justin took the boys down today to see the fish and all the animals. Braxton loved all the moose (he called them all moose) and Taylor loved the fish! Maybe next time we will splurge and take them to the aquarium :-)

Date night with my boys

Last night I took the boys to Disney on Ice with some friends. We met at The Gateway food court for a quick (like eat in 5 minutes or we are throwing away your food) dinner before heading over to the ESA for the show. We had great seats and the boys loved every minute of it.

Babies 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Babies!
WOW! It's been a crazy year but we made it. You girls make life so much fun! We love you! Before leaving for breakfast the boys gave the girls their birthday presents. They couldn't stand waiting! The girls love to push their strollers and love their babies. Avri loves and cuddles her baby and Macall has learned how to feed her baby the bottle and make her talk. We decided that we wanted to go to breakfast so we went to IHOP. My family joined us and we had a fun birthday breakfast.
