Worst Mom Ever

After finishing some returns I put the shopping cart up against the car so that it wouldn't roll away with my baby in it. I put Macall in the car and out of the corner of my eye see the cart rolling away. I jump out but it was too late. Avri and the cart fell off the curb and onto their sides. She didn't cry much, just was in shock. A nice lady helped me get the cart off her, took the cart inside and brought a balloon back out to the car for her.

I felt awful and wanted to cry with her! She is totoally fine and just a little bruised up! Pretty lucky that she didn't break anything!!

Park

Aves going down the slide. Smart girl!Calls... Avri climbed all the way up the slide. She almost made it but couldn't figure out how to get onto the platform! Crazy kid! This is a spinning toy that the girls thought was so fun!

Playing outside

While the girls were napping we played outside, for 3 1/2 hours. We are all sunburned and tired from playing. The boys love being out there and they were so much happier all day long! They didn't even beg for food. Helpers

The boys love to help. We mad a yummie new dessert and the boys got the job of un wrapping carmels. Great way to get it done. 4 little cooks in the kitchenTaylor loves to help the girls. Avri has started walking down the stairs so Taylor decided to help her out. He sat her down and held her hand and then slid down the stairs on their bums. Now everytime he helps her he tells me they are bumping down the stairs.

Aquarium

We have been to the Aquarium so many time this winter. We bought passes and sure have used them a lot! The boys love it there and it is a quick trip out of the house. There were tons of people there and the boys saw everything in record time. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Like I said, it gets us out!

We had to get a picture of the cockroaches because the boys keep telling me "daddy hates the roaches! Let's put them on his pillow." (they got bugs at preschool last week)

Lazy Days

This week I wasn't feeling well so we didn't do much but sit around and watch movies and cartoons. The kids loved it. I was bored. I hate being sick. Avri and Macall love cartoons. They love The Backyardigans and will sit down in front of the tv when ever it is on.

McDonalds

This morning we went to McDonald's for breakfast. You can get a kids meal for breakfast. Did anyone else know that? We didn't! Anyhow, before the long day of basketball Justin decided to treat us to breakfast out! The kids were in heaven and I was happy that I didn't have to fix breakfast or clean it up! The boys only played basketball and the girls loved the slides. A few weeks ago Brax was with Justin in the car and shouted "Look! There's McDonald's. He has a farm. E-I-E-I-O!!". Now he says it every time we pass by and sings his little heart out! Love it!

Spring??

Yesterday we went out to play while the girls were napping. It was a nice day and the boys loved being outside! They pulled all their summer toys out and played for a long time. They wanted to go out again today but it wasn't as warm. Maybe tomorrow?

Discovery Gateway

We went to Discovery Gateway on Monday with the boys preschool class. They had so much fun running around the place. The girls loved the water and the balls. Avri tried everything and Macall cried when I tried to get her to do anything but the water. Taylor and Braxton liked the water, the market, and the helicopter.

Sunday night walk

Tonight we went for a walk to the lake to feed the ducks. The boys love riding their bikes and loved feeding the ducks. The girls wanted to get out so bad but it was muddy and rocky so I wouldn't let them.My boys!After the lake we headed over to the park to let the kids play for a little while. The girls loved being out and about exploring the area. There were lots of people from our ward so the kids played while we chatted. It started to get colder so we headed home for a nice warm bubble bath!

Nursery

Can I just say we have the greatest Nursery leaders ever!!! The girls walked into the nursery while Justin was taking the boys to primary so I was going to let them play until he got back. When he came back he headed off to class and I was going to stay in there for the second hour and then we would each take a girl for third hour. I got talking to the leaders and they asked how old the girls were and they told me just to leave them and they would come and get me if they needed me. WHAT! They also told me to keep bringing them back! Awesome!!! I enjoyed my first Sunday school/Relief Society lesson without kids since the girls were born.

Zoo

Saturday was a nice day so we headd up to the Zoo. The kids always love it and it was nice to get out of the house. Callers This would have been the cutest picture but she had that darn binki that never leaves her mouth. This is the look I got when I took her binki from her.
