Happy Birthday to you!

Happy Birthday to two of the most handsome 4 years olds I know!
I can't believe that you are 4! So much has happened in these 4 years and you make each day better. We love you so much and are so grateful that you came together! You are the best brothers and best friends. I hope you always stay this close!

Taylor:
You love cars, motorcycles, your little puppy Fetch, your blanket, sunglasses, the color grey, pizza, chicken nuggets, hamburgers, all fruit and most vegetables, animals, golfing, football (you are a great tackler), wrestling with daddy, The Backyardigans,Star Wars, and playing my I phone and the Wii. You don't like to play tag because you hate being "picked lots of times". You don't like real animals unless they are from a far distance. I can't get you to eat Mac and Cheese. You are such a big helper with your sisters and love them so much. You are so caring and have such tender feelings. When I ask you to smile you have this new "cheese face" and you scrunch your nose! You can spell your name, know our address and phone number. You are a special little guy and we love you lots!
 Braxton:

You love motorcycles, cars, your blanket, chicken nuggets, root beer, most fruit, hardly any veggies, basketball (you can make shot after shot and are getting very good), golfing, wrestling with daddy, The Backyardigans, Star Wars, the t.v. (you watch any cartoon!), playing the Wii and my I phone, and Where's Waldo books. You like board games like Candy Land, Hungry Hippos, and Star Wars Guess Who. You don't like vegetables or being told no. You always tell me you don't like something before you even try it, food or activities. You are a good brother and watch out for Taylor and your sisters. You are a loving little boy but have a little bit of a temper. You can spell your name, know our address and phone number, and have started saying your prayers by yourself. You are a good little boy and we love you!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BOYS!

Digging for wormins

After the girls went down for their nap the boys got out all the shovels and rakes and decided to dig for bugs. They found lots of little "wormins" and were so excited! (They got the name wormins from the show The Backyardigans)

My girls

These two girls are full of energy! They try to hard to keep up with their brothers. They love to play ring around the rosies. They call it "ashies, ashies". The sing ashies all day long. The love to spin in circles and fall down!
 Love it!
 Love it!
 Love this one most!
We went on a little walk down the street and Macall found these flowers. I told her to smell them and she decided to lick them. Silly girl.

Who's phone is it?

Since I got a new phone the boys have been OBSESSED with playing (or wanting) to play the games on there. They love Angry Birds, Motocross, and Where's Waldo. At least I can use it to get them to clean up their messes.

Golf Pros

Justin wanted to take the boys to the golf range last night and decided we should give them their birthday present early. He couldn't stand it! They were so excited about the clubs but even more excited about the glove. They love to golf!! When ever we drive by Mulligans they always tell me they want to go "Ninja Turtle" golfing. They are trying to say miniature!

I love that when my kiddos are watching a show they all lay on their bellies. The girls do this when coloring, reading, and watching t.v.

Welcome home Clarkamos

Benji, Quinn, Elliott, Taylor, Avri, Braxton, Macall, and Jake

We went to Idaho Falls last weekend for Clark's home coming. He flew into Idaho Falls Friday night around 11. All the kids were up and ready to see him. The boys were shy and it took most of the weekend to warm up to him but it always takes my kids a few days to get used to new faces. We are so happy he is home and can't wait to play again this weekend.
Welcome home Clarky!!

Last day at the beach

We were sad to see our time in Texas come to an end but we were ready to be back with Justin and the girls. Our last day we spent playing on the beach. The boys were scared of the segulls and hid under the car door. Funny boys.

Goodbye Tecas! We had a blast!

Pirates

On Monday Grandma set up a treasure hunt on the beach. The kids had a good time looking at their maps and figuring out the clues.

Tydon dug for the treasure while the rest of them watched.
We found the treasure!

Schlitterbahn- Day 2

We had so much fun at Schlitterbahn the first day that we went back for a second day! The boys loved the water this time (I didn't make them go on any slides). They did have a little freak out about the lazy river but once we got in they decided it was pretty fun.
They had this fun kids area with a huge pirate ship
Taylor walked right into a flower pot with prickly stems. Ouch!

Schlitterbahn- Day 1

The boys loved the kid area and HATED the slides! I made them go on one slide and they cried for 30 minutes about it BEFORE we even got to the slide! They settled down after they were acutally on the slide but they would not go on another one.

The food was yummie and expensive!

On the way to our room after the park had closed we passed a huge pile a tubes. Of course Dave was the first one jumping into them with all the kids following!

San Antonio

Friday was the longest drive to San Anotonio. We had to stop multiple times and it seemed like it took forever. We finally got there and had lunch at Jimmy Johns and then headed to our hotel. We walked around the mall and the river walk that went through the area we were staying. After a little shopping we ate at Tony Roma's and then headed back upstairs for an early bed time. The boys were out by 7:45!

USS Lexington

May 12
This is the entrance to a store by Sarah's. The kids wanted to go there from day 1 so we finally stopped by to try and find a couple rash gaurds for swimming. After we left we headed down to the USS Lexington that is docked and now a floating museum. Pretty cool.

We took this picture for Chad. It's the pharmacy on the ship.

Of course we loved the beach and went back as many times as we could...

The boys were getting grumpy so I told them to sit down and take a break. Next thing I knew they were both asleep!
