updating again...

I keep getting behind in blogging because I have found a few new apps on my phone that I use instead. Trying to get back into it though.

 The boys have been so happy that the weather has been nice. They are all about being out side playing what ever sport they are into that day. The past few days has been golfing because Justin has taken them to the course a few times. 

 We took Aves to get her first hair cut. She doesn't look happy but she did great and was such a good girl. It turned out so cute too! 

 Mom planned a baby shower for Jess and Amber last weekend and it was so cute. Em and I got to help put everything together and it was super fun. We can't wait for these two babes to get here.

I had Conner and Gwen over the other day for a few minutes before we went to Megan's. Conners the only boy in a groups of girls! He loves it.

Package

Yesterday the kids got a package in the mail. They were so excited!

Yesterday we met Justin at the zoo for lunch. We ate and headed off to see the animals. About 5 minutes into it Brax had a meltdown and so we turned around and left. I was not in the mood to deal with that. I'm working on being more patient with the kids but lately they have been very difficult. I need a vacation :-)

Preschool Field Trip

On Tuesday we went with the boys preschool to a dentist office. They were so excited because they had learned about teeth in a previous class.

Avri and Macall got to tag along too. They loved the waiting room games.

Some days are hard. The boys have been emotional and they justin don't know how to deal with the word no. On this particular day they were fighting ad being mean so they got sent their separate ways. After throwing the BIGGEST tantrums they both zonked! Sleep is always the best cure!

Sunday

On sunday we walked down to the lake. The boys wanted to ride bikes and the girls like to be pushed in the stroller. It would have taken way to long to let the ride bikes :-) We took some bread and fed the ducks. Don't tell. You are not supposed to do that here. Makes the ducks domestic. (like they aren't already) Loving the weather. Such a great, mild winter!

Build a Bear

Jalayne and I took the girls shopping on Saturday while the boys went golfing with Justin. I have been wanting to take them to Build A Bear because I thought they would LOVE it. We had a good time but they really didn't get into it like I thought they would. They do love their bears though so I guess it was worth it. :)

It's been a while since we have done Sunday pictures. We all got new church clothes recently so picture time :-)

Second nice day

Since the weather was great the next day we pulled out the bouncy toy. It took a lot of motivation for me to dig it out of the basement because I was so sore from the gym. But we did it and the kids had a blast. Avri and Macall love to bounce. 

Tay and Brax decided it would be fun to bring the basketball hoop out and they played for an hour. They are basketball fools. They are good too!

So behind...again

Last week the weather finally got better. Isn't that nice to say! We have been playing outside and loving it! Can't wait until the Spring is really here and Summer. The kids love it outside! The girls love to ride their bikes and the boys love basket hopes, bikes, baseball, and everything else.

Random

*Today I ran 3.2 miles without stopping! Yes people, that is a 5K (plus .10 miles) I have never run past two miles in my life. Guess the gym is doing something. No I will NOT do races with you Hatch's :-)

*Braxton hates his top bunk right now. It hurts his legs to climb up and down.

*Macall tells me she "took a nap" every morning when she wakes up. Too cute!

*Avri falls asleep sitting up. Just like her daddy.

*Taylor cries and tells us its because he didn't sleep good.

*Avri and Macall bicker over EVERYTHING, especially in the car.

*Taylor and Braxton LOVE school and are doing so good reading. They get so excited when they pass of each new book. It's fun to watch them because as the books get harder they whine about it but within a few days (or some times a week) they are reading it with no trouble at all. Brax can write well and Taylor is all over the place with HUGE letters. We are practicing.

*There is a crack in my windshield about a foot and a half long. Thank you car in front of me that hit me with a rock. 

*I love that my babies sing "Soft Kitty"from The Big Bang Theory

*Justin's car has over 150,000 miles on it. Hope it holds out for another year or two.

*All four kids can make it through a movie at the theater. All we have to do is have food to last the entire time. We took them to see "The Lorax" and as the music started Macall danced along. Her and Avri soon fell asleep and it was THE BEST movie we've ever gone to with them all.

*My feet are killing me

*Justin needs the weather to be better so he can go golfing. He is much happier when he can take it out on the balls. 

*March Madness is here. We are celebrating "Selection Sunday" with Clark and Hayley. You are all welcome. 

*I am a Peyton Manning fan and so my team will now be where ever he goes. I'm like that.

*We've been taking bike rides and then the next day it snows. What's up with that?

*I'm going to enjoy some ice cream with the hubs. We were going to go out as a family but after the 10th melt down the kids went to bed and Justin went and picked some up for us.

Movie Day

Today we went to the $1.00 movie and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks. The popcorn cost more then the movie did :) The kids enjoyed it though and it was good to get out and do something that we normally don't do.

When I went to pick the kids up from the gym the other day this is what I found. Macall had fallen asleep on the floor next to where Avri was playing. Crazy, tired girl. They have been getting up so early and coming to my room. Hope they get back into their sleeping routine soon! After I picked her up she woke up and smiled and said "I took a nap". She says this every morning after she gets out of bed.
