Preschool Christmas Party

I helped out with the girls Christmas party today at school. They watched some of The Polar Express, ate pancakes and hot chocolate, played games, and had a gift exchange. All the kids wanted the presents they brought but we finally talked them into trading.

Macall's first hair cut

We went to get the boys hair cut Monday and decided the girls needed one too. It was the first time for Macall. She did great and loved the glitter she got sprayed in her hair when she was done.

It snowed about 6" over night Friday so after basketball we got all dressed up and went out to play. We had a snowball fight, made a snowman, and pulled the kids in the sleds.

Jr Jazz

The boys had their first real game on Saturday. They played great and had so much fun. Braxton had 8 points and Taylor scored 2 with lots of rebounds. Way to play boys!!

Girls 1st dentist appointment

Last week the girls had their first dental appointment. Macall wouldn't let go of my hand but did great. Avri went with the dental assistant and had no problems! So proud of my big girls!!

What we've been up to

Over the past week we've been busy playing games, staying warm, and having some fun. Since I can't change the order of the pictures from my phone the descriptions are in order of their pictures.
*The girls found tissue paper and were playing "tea party" and "picnic". Love these girly girls!
*We went to our ward Christmas party and the kids saw Santa. No one cried and they were so excited to tell him what they wanted.
* Last Sunday Justin made fast Sunday cake and the kids all decided to help with cleaning out the bowl.
*I played Bunco and we had a fondue dinner. Turned out great and fun!

Jr Jazz

Taylor and Braxton started Jr Jazz yesterday! They have been so excited to start and it finally here. They both loved it and said they had so much fun. Go boys!!!
(P.S. blogging from my phone. We will see how it turns out. Maybe I can stay caught up)

Thanksgiving

We had such a great time in Logan for Thanksgiving. We ate at Kent and Loralee's and dinner was delicious! We hung out there for a while and then decided to go to the hotel and get checked in. After getting the kids settled the girls decided to hit up Walmart for some Black Friday shopping. I have not laughed so hard in a long time! We had a blast with all the craziness. We had a cart of stuff at Walmart and when we got in the check out line it was at least an hour and a half wait. We ditched the cart and bailed. We went to Shopko and the lines were even worse. We all decided that Black Friday is not for us!

 Friday morning we went down to the pool instead of going back to the stores! :-) The kids were so excited to be going swimming! Avri is a fish and loved every minute of it. Macall sat on the edge just like she did all summer long. The boys were brave and swam all over the pool and even went under.

 This little girl loves her Papa. She is always right by him.

After lunch we went to see Wreck it Ralph. We only had to go to the bathroom 3 times. But the movie was good and the kids had fun!

 After the movie we went to our all time favorite place to shop...Hobby Lobby! The kids were wild as usual and Taylor fell in love with the darn animals. When we were done shopping he gave Grandma those big puppy dog eyes and told her "I really just love the wolf". Grandma ended up buying each of the kids a cute animal. Thanks Grandma!! They haven't put the animals down since we got them.

 This week is Dad's birthday so we had a little party for him. Happy Birthday Dad!! We love you tons!

YAY!

Thanks to some helpers I don't have to trade blogs! All you have to do is delete! I can do that! So as I am getting things in order here is a cute picture of Mr Taylor. He put his pencil behind his ear while he was doing his homework!

The boys go through phases of toys. This week they have been into their Legos again. We also fixed their Super Spy house and they have been loving it!! 

 On Saturday night we watched "Arthur Christmas" and had popcorn. No better way to spend a Saturday night!

 The boys have always loved Justin's starting lineup collection. They play mostly with the football guys but since basketball season has started they decided to get out the basketball guys. They made this court and everything! Clever boys!

Our first snow storm!

And it was a big one! The kids loved that they could get out their umbrellas for the snow! it fell hard all day and left us at least 5 inches of snow. Of course it is all melted now!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my girls! We started the day off right with donuts from Harmons. 

 Then we opened a few presents

And then we got to go downstairs to see our BIG present! They love the vanities and really are little princesses.

 That night we had a party with Grandma Merrill and the Holverson's. We had cake and ice cream and opened presents. They were SPOILED and loved every minute of it!!

 Macall didn't wait for anyone else! She jumped right into her cake! Good thing I made cupcakes too!!

  As soon as I decided to do a princess theme for the girls birthday I knew I had to make them princess cakes. I remember my Grandma Kiesling made me one for my 8th birthday and I loved it!
