Happy Birthday!

Taylor, Braxton, and I just wanted to wish one special man a
HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY!He works hard at everything he does and we are so proud of all his accomplishments. He is a great husband and dad and we love him lots!!
Happy Birthday!!!

What a fun weekend!

We had a great weekend up in Logan/Preston. We got up Friday and headed down to Logan to spend the day swimming and playing with Grandma Merrill. We found a new hotel that was awesome inside and headed out to the Logan Aquatic Center. The pool was nice and warm and the kids had a great time playing in the 1/2 foot pool. I love kid pools like that so they can just play away with out me needing to worry as much. Braxton trying out the goggles
Taylor's turn with the goggles

Friday night was a long and exhausting night with two kiddos not feeling well but we made it out to the motocross races in Preston before Chad and Justin raced. I didn't get any pictures of the actual races but here are some as we were waiting around.

Braxton trying to find a comfortable spot to sleepTaylor fell asleep in my arms and so we made him a little bed out of riding gear and he slept well

After the last race we were walking through the bumpy grass/dirt and Brax fell asleep. This kid is just like his daddy. He can fall asleep anywhere. If you notice that big cup was full of sno cone and this time I let the boys have flavor from the start :-)

Thanks for the fun weekend trip Grandma! (it's not over though, we talked her into coming home with us)

Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday we spent most of our day at the pool. We started out at the Splash pool and after naps Em called to see if we wanted to go to the big pool for a picnic and swimming. We threw together some sandwiches, salads, and fruit and head out for some more fun in the sun. The boys had a great time at the pool and loved the squirt guns they got for their birthday. Justin met us there for dinner and the boys of course loved having daddy around to splash. Today we spent the morning at IKEA waiting for the time to come to go up to Centerville to meet Leslie and Lyla for lunch. Unfortunately they couldn't make it so my boys decided to take their momma on a date to FIRE HOUSE, my most favorite pizza and salad! YUM! We used to go there all the time when we lived in Logan and I still love (crave) it! After our yummie lunch we went to the Lucherini's to spend the day out in the sun again. The boys had a great time playing in the yard and just being outside.
It was also Elliott's birthday today so when everyone got there the fun really began. Grandpa teaching the boys to summer salt.

Elliott has always loved trimmers and lawn mowers so when the neighbor came out all interest was to him. It was hilarious watching these four little boys enjoy such a thing.

Monday night

On Monday night Taylee and Tydon's school had a carnival so we decided to hit it up. There wasn't much for the boys to do so we got treats instead. I got the boys cotton candy because I thought they would love it but they wanted my sno cone instead. I got two more and the boys were happy with their flavor-less snow cone :-) Mean mom didn't put any color on it. They actually spotted my red sno cone so we had to head back to the flavors and spice theirs up a bit. They loved them!BraxTaylor trying to decide if the cotton candy was good or not.Watching Taylee and Tydon climb the rock wall
After the carnival we went back home to play outside for a while longer. It was a beautiful night and I got a great picture of our view! They boys got out all their toys and had a blast with Justin.Playing soccer with Taylor

We were given this plane and attempted to fly it! Is there a trick to these things? No duck tape maybe?? :-) The first time we flew it, it came crashing down and broke. The boys still wanted to play so Justin got out the duck tape and away we flew. Not really. The most fun the boys had with it was racing Justin to throw it away.

Catching up...again

Happy Father's Day to all the great fathers in our lives! We love you all!!
(look at Brax's smile and then Justin's! Exactly the same!)
Now to catch up...
The other day was finally nice enough to get out and go swimming. The boys of course loved it and can't wait to go back! Good thing it is supposed to be hot all week. Are you ready for a week in the pool Holverson's?? :-)

There is a couple in our ward that have twin boys that are about 5 or 6. She was cleaning out her garage the other day when Em had stopped by so she had mentioned she had these trikes and so Em pulled around and we checked them out and of course the boys fell in love! They call them their "cycles" and can't wait for mom to get them cleaned up and air in the tires. They need to grow a few inches but that doesn't stop them from trying to figure them out!

And the babies are...

I wish I could tell you.
I had an appointment today and we had hoped that we would find out the genders of the twins. The Dr did an ultrasound because he had a hard time finding the heartbeats (and he admitted he is just inpatient with the small machine and would rather use the ultrasound machine). He checked out the heart beats and everything looks great! He started looking around to see if he could see any parts but he got called out so we had to set up an appointment for two weeks. I have so many things I want to do and get done before these two come that 20 more weeks really isn't enough. It will be much easier to get these things done when I know the genders though :-)
Any guesses on what they are?? I really have no clue what to think!

We all got to be home for Justin's homecoming talk on Sunday. He did a great job and it is so fun having him home, when he is around :-)
Mom got all the kiddos these cute 4th of July outfits so we took them to take some pictures. Sar took great pictures and most the kids did great. My boys even smiled in some. We had a great time and can't wait to go back again! Brax, Kinley, Tydon, Kam, Taylor, Taylee and Kyler

Hogle Zoo

Saturday morning we got up and got ready to go to the zoo. Justin felt like getting Jamba Juice and the boys loved it. They had these cute little cups so they each got their own. It would have been the end of the world to share! :-)We got to the Hogle Zoo around 10 and headed in only to find out our zoo passes no longer get us in for free. We got half off which is still good but not as good as free.
One of the first stops was the Rhinos and they were up close! The boys thought it was so cool! We had a great time and are going back tomorrow to meet our friends from Spokane.

At one point Taylor had climbed up the side of the stroller and Braxton yelled in concern "Don't fall!!" So cute!

6-5-09

Today Brax refused to take a nap so at dinner this is what happened. He was eating a piece of bread and then he was out. I had to pull a couple noodles out of his mouth and I just laughed as his poor little head bobbed back and forth. At one point I thought his head was going to land in his spaghetti so I had the camera ready. Mean mom was waiting for a good laugh! He did end up hitting the edge of the bowl which just woke him up and made him made :-) When it's been a long day I just have to look back at the cute things my boys have done during the day and I can't help but smile. They were playing in the box with Justin and having a great time. They seem to always know what they need to make me laugh!

Playing

Yesterday before Em dropped off the kiddos we went out to play a little ball. We ended up playing golf from the tee. My cute boys in their new hats.Brax
Tay Yesterday I got to watch Kam and Kyler while Em and Heath went to help out with the new Temple open house. Tay and Brax love playing with Kamdon and absolutely loved playing light sabers with him. They were laughing the whole time. They figured out how to pretend to die but would say they "crashed". That's much better I think :-)
Kamdon "crashing"
Braxton "crashing"
Taylor "crashing"
The boys would run around Kyler and he would just laugh and laugh
We tried to settle down and watch Cars.
I think I was the only one that fell asleep at that time. Ha haToday at the Splash Pool.
This morning the boys woke up telling me they wanted to go swimming so that's just what we did. I am glad that I have a neighbor that likes to go with me :-)

We love our new life in Utah.
