Christmas

At 7:00 am we woke up to a phone call from the basement. Taylee couldn't stand it any longer. We needed to get up. We headed down stairs and the boys weren't too sure what to do. We directed them to where Santa left their presents.Braxton got into opening the presents and was done in no time.Taylor took his time and had a little help from daddy. When he was finally awake enough to get into opening presents his were done so he helped with Avri and Macall's. Macall checking out her stocking. Poor girl only got a doll and some binki's (that she doesn't like)Santa will do better next year!Avri with her stocking. She got the same doll and binki's as Macall. After we opened Santa's present we headed upstairs where Grandpa and Grandma a few presents for the kids. The boys were so excited about their cycle shirts! They didn't take them off for 2 days! On the back they are sporting the Merrill Racing logo.
Taylor got a 4 wheeler from Papa and Grandma. He wasn't too sure about it at first but after he saw Brax take off he jumped right on to follow.

Brax got a 4 wheeler too! They love them! We can't wait for summer to cruise down the sidewalks!!

Thanks for the great Christmas everyone!!!

Christmas Eve

We started our Christmas Eve over at the Hatch's. The boys had a great time unwrapping gifts and playing with Elliott and Quinn.
Unwrapping
Grandma made all the boys super hero capes. The boys don't understand the super hero thing yet so they didn't get the cape thing. Guess we need to teach them! Naughty Aunt Jalayne gave the boys boxing gloves. As if they need boxing gloves to hurt each other! :-) She did ask me if it was alright but I was expecting small gloves! These things are huge but every one loved them!

We spent the second half of the afternoon in Rigby at a family party. I didn't get any pictures but the boys had fun making gingerbread houses and playing basketball.

We headed back to my parents house and everyone was ready to open the tradition Christmas Eve present. (PJ's) We open gifts from siblings and uncle's and aunts that night too! Taylor was excited and opened his gift before Braxton so Brax couldn't wait to get his!
As he was opening it he got so excited and shouted "Oh Baby" as soon as he saw it! Funny!
I don't think this is how they are used. Naughty Grandma opened her present a week before Christmas.
Sarah had sent the package (stinkin cute boots) to mom's so when she saw it was from Zappos she opened it and put them on! We decided it would be funny to put old dirty shoes in the box so when she opened it she got a surprise. I didn't get a picture with the ugly shoes but loved this picture!!
Papa with all the boys!
Before heading to bed we made a plate of treats for Santa and set carrots on the deck for the reindeer.

Christmas Letter to all

This year I slacked off and didn't get a Christmas card/letter sent out. I did just have two babies. How long can I use that excuse?? :-)

We have had a wonderful year and look forward to the coming year.
2009 started out slow and then April came with a bang. We found out on April 1st that we were expecting our second set of twins. It wasn't a very funny April's Fools joke but we feel extremely blessed to have these kids in our home. Justin graduated from Gonzaga Law school in May and we have been living life in the fast lane since. We moved to Utah the middle of May and the boys turned 2 the end of May. Justin studied for the Bar all summer and the boys and I tried to stay occupied by playing outside and soaking up the sun at the pool. In June we found out the twins were girls and we couldn't have been more excited. In August Justin passed the Bar and received a job offer all in the same week. Life slowed down for a couple months and then on November 6th Avri and Macall were born. Life is crazy with 2 sets of twins but it is so much fun too. Taylor and Braxton are great big brothers and help when ever they can. Avri and Macall are great babies. They sleep well and don't cry to hard when the boys are harassing them.
We have been so blessed and can't wait to see what they new year brings.
We love you all and hope you have a Merry Christmas!!

Who can paint?

I think this is so stinkin cute and think it would be even cuter in my girls new room with pink walls. What do you think?? I need someone that can paint though. Any takers??? I stole the picture from here

Nothing better then family

Last night we had a little get together with the Holverson's and Browning's. We ate yummie pizza, the kids watched a Christmas movie and ate popcorn, and we decorated gingerbread houses. We had a blast. Thanks for coming guys! Taylor wasn't feeling very well so this was about all he did all night.Braxton loved the gingerbread houses. He especially liked the candy he kept eating off it! Justin struggled a little with the frosting and it went every where.

Our finished house.

As I put the fish on the front of the house Justin let me know that I had come a long way because a few years before I would never have let him put a fish on my gingerbread house. I guess I just wasn't going for perfection last night. :-)

Santa Claus is coming to town

I finished wrapping presents a while ago but the one thing I forgot was tags. Today I headed out in the cold with all four kids and got tags and finally finished the last few touches to all the presents. Santa is ready to fly :-)

It looked so much messier in person! Took me forever to clean up!

Putting up the tree

The day after Thanksgiving I hit up Target (after all the crazies were done) and found the perfect little tree for our little space. The boys of course loved the box! Who does't have fun with a card board box? Too bad Grandpa wasn't here :-) Justin even let me listen to Christmas music while decorating the tree. He likes it in the month of December but I usually get away with it a little sooner.
Braxton and Taylor in their Halloween pj's with the Christmas tree.

We are ready for Christmas!

Taylor

So does it look like I beat him or what? I was getting the girls ready to leave and the boys had been upstairs playing. Taylor came down and told me he was pretty. I didn't think anything of it because usually that means they found my chap stick and put it on. When I looked at him I had to laugh! He had gotten into my bronzer and indeed made himself pretty :-) I am glad that I can just laugh at my boys these days. I think I would go crazy with all the things they do but laughing makes it so much better, plus I have good stories.
