Piano

Taylor and Braxton started piano lessons yesterday with Kim. They have been pretty excited about playing their songs. They are so cute helping each other and very excited to practice. I have hear Kim told them if they practice everyday then she will get them their favorite candy bar. That is motivation for anyone.

Friday movie night

I was out talking to Sheryl (left) and we thought it would be fun to go to the outdoor movie at the park. Justin kept the boys and I took the girls out with their friends. Lily and Marisha ended up going to! What a fun night!

First Grade

When did these two get so big? First grade here we come! 

Today was the boys last day of swimming lessons. They did great and learned so much! They are good swimmers and hopefully we will have enough time to find places to swim this school year.

Camping

On Friday (july 19) we got up from in IF and headed down to Logan to meet Justin for an over night campout. The kids were really excited to go camping. It is a lot of work for just one night but the kids loved every minute of it. 

July 20

On Saturday all the Hatch's that could met up at a group campsite for a mini family reunion with Grandpa Hatch. The kids played all over the camp site and had a great time with cousins. 

Idaho Falls Fun

We decided to go to Idaho Falls last week for our last week of summer break. We got there Tuesday (July16) after a long drive. We had to stop to get gas and go to the bathroom and then in Blackfoot my tire pressure light went on telling me the Front Right tire was low. We stopped to check it and it was fine. We got to the first Idaho Falls exit and we stopped again just to make sure but the tire was still fine. We finally made it. We decided to have an inside movie night because there was a huge storm. We watch "The Little Rascals" and the kids all loved it.

 July 17 

We got up and headed to I Jump. The kids loved it and a few even learned how to do back flips. Even Brax tried it out. We decided to break the rules and everyone jumped into the foam pit for a picture.

As we were leaving I Jump we could hear my Back Left tire leaking air. I checked it with the air pressure thing in my car and sure enough the tire was losing air. Luckily there was a mechanic shop right next door and he filled the tire so that I could make it to Les Schwab and get it fixed. But first we headed out for lunch and to play at the park for a few minutes. Then we hit up the shoes stores for some back to school shoes. The kids all picked out bright colored shoes.

 After shoe shopping we went to Les Schwab and found there was a nail in my tire and the car was reading the tire wrong because when we had the tires rotated they didn't change the settings for the tire. The kids were great though and we got it fixed, free of charge. That night Holveron's got us tickets to the Chuckars game. The kids were happy as long as they had food. We had hot dogs, soda, cotton candy, cereal (brought from home), nachos, and ice cream. Thanks for spoiling us Grandma!!

 July 18

It was the nicest day so we went up to Rexburg to Rexburg Rapids. They kids loved the water park. The boys favorite thing was the lazy river and Avri loved the green slide. Macall likes to sit on the side but she still had fun.

Thanks for a great few days Grandma and Papa! 

The weekend

Macall and I went downtown to the Farmer's market on saturday with Emily and Mom. Avri, Taylor, Brax, and Justin went to the aquarium while we were gone. We had a yummie waffle at a place across from the Market.

We took the kids to see Dispicable Me 2 and they were all set with treats, popcorn, and soda.

 We had bought some pizza dough from the market and fresh mozzarella so we made pizza at 10pm. We had gone to Brandon Merrill's wedding open house before. The pizza was really good! we grilled it! Yum!!

 Sunday these cute girls wore the dresses that Grandma and Papa brought back from Hawaii. Thanks!!

July 11, Zoo night

We went to the members zoo night with the Snyders.

 When we were walking towards the elephants Macall said "I'm going to touch it today!" and she did! Way to go big girl (She has always been sooooo scared of it!)

 It was also free slurpee day at 7-11 but when we got there they had stopped giving away free ones. It was too late to tell the kids we weren't getting slurpees so we got them anyways. I am not a fan.

This cute boy and I went to the library and played at the water fountain for a little bit. Love alone time with my kids. It doesn't happen often.
