Spokane County Fair

After a big day of football watching and BBQ at our house we all headed out to the Spokane County Fair. We had some more yummie food and went to the Compact Car Derby. It was lots o fun and even Tay and Brax had a good time watching the cars bash into each other. Hatch Family

We all picked a car to cheer for and whose ever car won, they got a soda of their choice. Big time gamblers. Out of 11 cars and 10 people, the one left over car was the winner. No soda for us! :-)These were the final two cars. The blue one ended up winning.

Ready for Halloween

I am so excited for Halloween this year. My boys are at such a fun age and are starting to figure out how things work! I have wanted to dress them as coyboys for a while and found these cute boots and hat for their costume. They are going to be two of the cutest little cowboys ever.

Any Tips on Photoshop??

So I realize these aren't great and that's why I need help! Who knows anything about Photoshop?? I just started using Photoshop yesterday and don't really know what I am doing so any guidance/tricks/tips would be nice.

Growing boys

The weather has been so nice this week and so we walked over to the park. The boys love playing outside and with the sticks and other thigns they find on the ground. We packed a picnic lunch and met Amy, Ava, and Lauren and walked to the park. The kids had a great time eating on the blankets and then playing on all the toys.



This morning the boys had a Dr. appointment. Justin had class so I had to deal with shots on my own. I usually do really well with the boys getting them but today was hard. They were both crying before like they knew something was going on. Then the looks on their faces while I had to help hold them down. Oh! Broke my heart! Good thing they love food because after a few fruit snacks they were ok. They are growing like weeds and healthy as can be! Taylor weighed 23.9 lbs and 32.2 inches tall and Brax was at 22.10 lbs and 32.5 inches.

My little BUTTS

My house always looks like a tornado came through it! Nope! It is just two VERY energetic 15 month old boys that think they can do whatever they want to whatever they want. If you come over in the middle of they day unannounced this is what you would get. If I know you are coming then it will be a little cleaner. At the end of the day when they boys are in the bath tub we do our nightly cleaning. Our apartment looks great then! Tonight as we were cleaning the boys were in the tub (bad mom left them in there alone. Trust me, I can hear them and know they are ok.) they were being too darn cute not to take pictures. If you are offended my cute little baby bums then don't look at my pictures. I just couldn't resist!

Doesn't it just make you want to squish them! I do!

15 months

Are my boys really 15 months old now? Wow! They are getting so big and doing so much now! They RUN all day long. Just for my memories, here are a few things they are doing.

*Running
*Jabbering all the time
* "Reading" books
*Give me their binkis if I ask them
*When I tell them to go get in the bath, they run into the bathroom. They LOVE bath time!
*Say: Mom, Dad, dog, ah-oh, "Ruff", hot, ouch, thank you, book, wow (there are some more but I can't remember them all right now)
*LOVE their blankets and carry them all around the house
*Get into everything they aren't supposed to
*Tease that they are going to do something they aren't supposed to and when we react they run away laughing
*Wrestle
* Love veggies
*Love fruit
*Will take me to their room to help them get a binki or toy
*Point to what they want
*Throw MAJOR temper tantrums
*Go down slides alone
*Climb up and down furniture
*Eat anything with ketchup on it

Farragut State Park

Today Justin and I drove to Athol, ID (about an hour from Spokane) to see Farragut State Park. Since this is our last year here we are hoping to do a few things that we haven't done yet. Farragut is on Lake Pend Oreille and so pretty. We drove through the park and saw some pretty views and then stopped for lunch at a little park. The boys were great through the whole thing. Even when Taylor had to stay stinky for an hour cause I forgot diapers. HELLO!! We had a great time. On our way home we decided to go to Cabela's. Neither of us have ever been in a Cabela's so we walked around and saw all the animals. Jusitn was impressed with the trout in a tank and wants to put one in our home someday. :-) I don't think so.

Pig Out in the Park

Every year in downtown Spokane a bunch of food vendors come out for Pig Out in the Park. It is pretty much all the fair food you could want, lining the pathways throughout the park. I love fair food but hate the smell of the fair and the rides so this is perfect for me. Just food :-) We walked down from the law school and enjoyed a few hours out in the park. Justin and I ate Philly Cheese stakes and the boys had PB and J that I brought from home. I wasn't about the spend $6.00 each for them to eat. To top off the night I had a funnel cake and Justin had a fried twinkie. YUM! Justin and I showing off our food

This has nothing to do with Pig Out in the Park but it was pretty funny. The boys splash so much that we put the plastic curtain down and then they had a great time letting the water soak into the wash clothes and then throwing them onto the curtain. It was a HUGE mess when they were done!

Movie time

I would have never thought I would take my boys to the movie theater until they were older and especially didn't think I would go without Justin. Today Amy and I braved all odds and took the kids to the FREE movie. They out numbered us but we did ok. Amy's girls were great. Braxton did awesome in his own chair and Taylor wouldn't let go of me. Eventually he feel asleep clinging on for dear life and Brax was content with holding my hand and watching what was going on. We saw Horton Hears a Who! Braxton fell asleep about 30 minutes before the movie got over and Taylor woke up for the last half and still clung to me. I think he was scared of the noise. The movie was SO LOUD and then the theater was FULL of little kids. It was pretty fun and I think I would do it again sometime. Amy was so smart and brought her kids car seats in. After seeing how smart that was she was so nice and went and got mine for me. Not only could they see but they liked to sit alone. Plus the chairs didn't fold up on them anymore. :-)
