Begining of a fabulous trip

We went to a huge pizza place for lunch one day and the kids had a great time. It was a big play place that you could set the kids free and let them run around because you had to have your hand stamped with matching numbers as your kids so no one could take them :-)

We climbed up the big slide and raced down. Taylor and Brax screamed the whole time we climbed but loved the slide.
Mom, Me, Em and Kyler, and Sar taking a break.
The next day we had to stop to find some cowboy boots and hats for the kids so Grandma gave the boys a dollar to spend in the store. Brax thought his was so fun and Tay stashed his away for safe keeping. They didn't get anything and I think I ended up with the 2 bucks! I better give it to them! Tay

Halloween Sugar Cookies

Last night after dinner we came back home and made sugar cookies with the kiddos. We decided we should do Halloween cookies because it is almost Halloween. We even tried a few colors to match our shapes. The gray was an accident and didn't look the best but it all tasted so yummie! My boys loved it! Mmmmm... don't those just look great!
Taylor helping spread the flour around the table.
Braxton rolling out the dough! He was doing it all by himself and loved that job.
Which cookie cutters should we use?
Decorating the cookies, Braxton's way. All he would do it eat the frosting.
Taylor played with his for a minute but when he saw Braxton eating it he knew that was the way to do it.
If you could hear the picture there would be a Mmmmmm... after every lick.
This little boy makes a mess with anything he eats! At least he has a great time doing it.

Hop on Pop

We can't lay on the ground in peace. The boys think it is so fun to climb all over us and on Sunday night they figured out how to stand up on Justin's back while he was laying down. They were so proud of themselves. Taylor trying to get up!
He did it!
Braxton's turn.
Look at me mom.
After they were done climbing they decided it was time to rest...on daddy of course!

Date night

Last night Justin and I went out with some friends and saw this...

I love this show! The music wasn't the best I have heard but it was still very good. We had a great time getting out and can't wait to go again.

My newest project

When I was home last weekend my mom and I went to a few fabric stores and found a cute pattern for a table topper. We just had to decide what fabric to use. We debated about Christmas ones and a few others but it came down to Cotton Blossoms fabric that I LOVE!!! Camille, it is soooo cute in person and I love it as my table topper. (we got it at your cousins store)
My empty jar. (got it home in one piece mom!) Justin and I have been debating on what to put in it. I wanted to do candy corn and Justin wants M & M's. Either way I will sit and snack on it all day long. Maybe I should put something that you can't eat inside! Any ideas??

Fun weekend in IF (picture overload)

Thursday the boys and I picked Justin up from school and we hit the road. We made it to Idaho Falls at about 10:30 after a 7.5 hour drive. The boys did great in the car and we only had to stop one time for dinner. Friday we headed down to Logan for the USU/BYU football game with the Hatch Clan. When we were almost to Blackfoot we passed a semi and this was the result...
We pulled into the Walmart parking lot and Justin and Dan went in to get some gear to fix the window...We laughed pretty hard at how we must have looked coming down the road...
The boys were fighting over who got to drive while we were waiting for the window to be fixed up.We finally made it down to Logan and had yummie Papa Johns Pizza at Jalayne's and then walked to the stadium for the game.

Uncle Clark came from BYU (boo). The family is mixed between USU fans and BYU fans but in the end we still like each other :-)

Elliott watching the game with his binoculars.
We had a great time at the game and spending the day with everyone!
On Saturday we spent the day over at Grandma and Pa Pa Merrill's. We watched conference and then headed out to the pumpkin patch where Taylor and Braxton had a great time. We picked out pumpkins to bring back to Spokane with us. Pa Pa got most of these pictures with his awesome new camera. Thanks for the fun day!

Dancing

My boys have just figured out this dancing thing. They think they are so funny as they are dancing! They also have figured out jumping. They are so fun!

(there is no music that you can hear, so don't try to turn up the volume)

Fun Fun Fun

Justin and some of his friends have a late night class on Mondays so the wifes come over and we do dinner. Monday I did Grandma's home made rolls, YUM, and veggie cheese soup. It was so yummie. Since I was a roll (ha ha) I decided I was going to make home made pie crust too. What better night to do it then Monday to share with everyone, so I don't eat it all. We had banana cream pie and chocolate pie. It was way yummie.
The rolls weren't as pertty as Grandma's but they sure tasted as good.
The YUMMIE pie!
Yesterday after running errands all day I got a call from a friend to meet her and her little boy down at the new splash pad at the park. I was in line at Joanns so I had to hurry home and grab the boys swimming stuff and head back down to the park. At first the boys weren't so sure about the water but eventually they got in and had lots of fun! Thanks Jess and Tate!

The pictures aren't so great because I was sitting in the sun and didn't move to get better pictures. Bad photographer. :-)

P.S. We are headed to IF tomorrow and are SOOOO EXCITED to see everyone! See you all when we get back!!
