Easter Sunday

We had a HUGE Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. There were probably over 1,000 eggs. The kids got so much candy and Grandma had hidden an Easter Basket for them. She also had golden eggs that had prizes in them. Macall ended up with the Grand Prize chocolate bunny. It's bigger then she is! Thanks Mom and Dad. It was a fun hunt.

Dying Eggs:

We ended up coloring 200 real eggs between 13 kids. Crazy amount of eggs. The kids loved every minute of that too. We had a fun weekend.

Warm

We love the warm weather we have been having. The kids love to play outside. The boys recently saved enough money to buy Bay Blades. They have loved them. Justin describes them as a glorified top. No matter what they are the boys love them and have a great time "battling".

Happy Birthday to ME

Justin asked if he could pick up a cake or make one for my birthday. I told him I would take care of it and so this is what I made. A yummie triffle. It was so good. We went to dinner at Olive Garden and then came back home for cake. Birthdays get a little more blah each year but I guess thats what you get when you get older :-) Thanks for all the gifts, calls, and messages.

April 4 Jazz vs Suns

Justin got the firm tickets for the game on April 4. Mom and Dad also had tickets and they ended up not being able to come so we got the tickets and took the boys to the game. They tickets are only 2 rows apart and right behind each other. The boys thought it was so cool being so close. (7th and 9th row) They told us they didn't want to sit in the high seats any more. Thats how I feel too. We had a good time and the boys ate like crazy.

Everyone had got into the car and left Macall out. She figured out how to get a little taller in order to grab the handle. Smart and very un safe.

I have a great group of friends. Emily emailed everyone to see if we wanted to all do conference activities for  our kids. We each took a different idea and made enough for all the kids. In all we ended up with 7 different activities for the kids to do through out all sessions of Conference. It has worked great too! Here are a few of the things we have done. The rest are for this afternoon session.
 Quiet Book
Note books for coloring and taking notes
Bingo

We went out to Stansbury Park for the Saturday sessions. Thanks for Grandpa and Clarine for feeding us and letting us invade for a few hours. The kids had so much fun going through all the toys and the boys thought it was so cool whenI took them downstairs and showed them where we lived for a summer.

 Coloring...

 Quite books...
We went out and fed the ducks...

and Grandpa got out the bean flippers. The boys really loved that.

and the girls loved running down the hill...

Cute Grandpa watching to see where the marbles would hit.
 Justin, Taylor, Braxton, and Grandpa
Do we ever have any pictures besides playing sports? Not really. It is what the boys love and I love watching them. They have gotten so good at all sports. Each day its something new. This past week it has been golfing. Justin took them to hit balls last week and they have been playing since.

And these two monkeys are just funny. Macall found the Santa hat and they both have been wearing it for days. She also wouldn't put this bag down. It was full of garbage from cleaning. Or maybe it was stinky diapers? When I finally took it from her she cried. Broke her tender little heart. Also love the one shoe thing.

When I tell them to get together to take a picture they put their arms around each other just like the boys do. Love it!

Sleeping

For the last few months the kids have all be AWFUL sleepers. They get up way too early and don't ever like to go to bed. They never have liked going to bed but they fight and cry about it every night. Since being in Idaho for 2 weeks in Feb Brax refuses to sleep on his top bunk. He comes down to our room in the middle of the night and wants to sleep with us. It got to the point that he wouldn't even wake us up. He would just climb in bed or no the floor. When we do get him to sleep in his room he sleeps with Taylor or on the floor. I haven't sleep well in a month and its starting to show. I am grumpy with them and can't pull myself out of bed until after 8. Let's hope this isn't going to last much longer!!
