May 23-26, Memorial Day Fun

May 24, 2014

We went up to the cabin over Memorial day and decided to spend some time in Yellowstone. We have never been in the Spring. We saw lots of animals and the kids loved that! We stopped at Old Faithful just in time to see it erupt. Perfect timing.

 

May 25, 2014

The second day we went up to Mammoth and the North Loop of Yellowstone. Julie and Jake went with us. We saw two black bears, elk, coyote, Justin spotted a wolf and lots of bison and calfs. After we got back we went over to the river and to Big Springs to see the fish.

Memorial Day

On our way out of Island Park we stopped to go fishing. The boys have become little fishermen and love it. we didn't catch anything but was fun to be out there together.

On our way home we stopped in Pocatello at Grandma and Grandpa Kiesling's grave. 

Aquarium

Last week we went to the aquarium with Sheryl and August. We watched the sharks get fed and that was pretty fun to see. 

Happy early Birthday Present

Taylor and Brax have wanted a mountain bike so that's what they got for their birthday. We gave the bikes to them early and they have loved them. They keep asking to go for bike rides and ride all around. 

Classic fun Center

We went to Classix Fun Ce yet with friends last week for a day out. The boys were in school but these two has a blast. 

Tiny dancer's dance recital

Avri and Macall's dance recital was May 16. They were excited to dance and thrilled with the flowers they received from Grandma and Mom after. They also loved their trophy and have played with it ever since. Justin was in Dallas at Mike's wedding but we were sure to send him the video. Great job girls!! 

Natural History Field Trip

Yesterday I went on a field trip with the boys class to the Natural history Museum in SLC. It was a self guided tour and we had groups of three students and two adults. The boys favorite part was the chocolate and they ran through the exhibit and straight to where we could buy the candy. It was the best part.

Flowers

Last Saturday I was just kind of grumpy and gloomy for no reason. I just didn't feel great emotionally or physically. My sweet boys came home from golfing with lunch and flowers to cheer me up. Love those sweet fellas. 

Happy Mothers Day to me! I love having fresh flowers in the house and this week I'm lucky to have two bouquets. 

Bowling Free

We signed the kids up for free bowling over the summer. They get two free bowling games each day through August. We decided to go after school yesterday. They did really well and the girls both bowled by themselves. 

Evening

Tonight we watched The Sandlot with the kids. Then we pulled out the fire pit for our first roast of the year. So glad it's warm!! 

Afternoon

Today was full of fun. Justin took the boys golfing and after lunch we went to the aqarium. After that we came home and the kids wanted to have a water fight. It didn't last long but they had a good time. 

Lego convention

Dan and Callie came down this weekend and we met them at the Lego Convention. The boys thought it was great! 

100 Books

I'm so proud of these guys. They had to read 100 books for school and tonight they finished. Brax finished his list and then helped Taylor read his last 20 books. Taylor read and Brax wrote the books on the paper. Such good brothers!

We packed a picnic lunch and headed up to the zoo to meet Justin. On of our favorite things to do. 

Week in Idaho

We spent the last week in Idaho having a blast! Grandma spoiled the kids and they didn't want to come home.

Saturday the 12th was Julie and Jakes wedding. It was a beautiful day!

April 4

We came to Idaho Falls for Julie's endowments on Friday and when we got into town we met Grandma at Leo's. The kids loved the games and were so excited to pick out prizes from their tickets they won. 

Justin and I went to the temple that night with Hatch's. It was great to be there as a whole family. 

Last night we watched dispicable Me 2 and these cute girls loved snuggling with Grandma. 

Boondocks

For Tydons birthday the boys got to go to boondocks to play. They lived the games, laser tag, and the race cars. Thanks for a great time!! 

The girls stayed home with Justin and we got a few pictures from them. 

Ty's bday

Grandma came to play for a few days so we met at the park for lunch and then went miniature golfing at Mulligans for Ty's birthday.
