Valentine's Day

Taylor
Braxton
Happy Valentine's day babe!
Waiting for daddy to come home.
Justin has a late night class on Thursdays so we waited for him to get home before we opened our little Valentine's gifts. All the boys got new swimsuits for the summer and I got some more fabric (the swimsuit I want is too expensive for now).

I am always finding Braxton in new places now that he can move! Tonight it was in the bathroom. He was in the hall waiting for his bath and when I came back there he was, playing with the toilet. YUCK! At least he can't get into it yet. (and I just cleaned it)

It's real

It's finally for real. Braxton is crawling! He has been trying for a few days now and got a couple "steps" and then would fall back to his belly. Today he has been practicing and he has got it down. He is fast too! I was in the other room and he came looking for me. He had made it half way down the hall when I came out. He is so proud of himself too. He gets so excited when he gets to where he was going. Taylor has figured out that rolling is getting him places. He rolls and rolls but hasn't been interested in crawling yet. It will come soon enough for me!

Valentine's Party!

We had a great time at the Valentine's Party today! Amy and Kim put together a great party and there of course was lots of fun, food and games for the kids. There were so many people there! I would guess probably 18-20 kids (plus mom's). It was great! My boys were troppers. They didn't get a morning nap and by the time we were done, they were done. The last pictures are of Taylor. He fell asleep sitting up in this chair! SERIOUSLY! He is asleep! Too funny! We got lots of fun valentines and treats. Too bad I will have to eat them :-) Thanks guys! We had lots of fun!

Something exciting!

We are coming home! Well, kind of but it is still exciting! Justin has a job interview in SLC over Spring Break. We are planning on staying in SLC because of the interview so if you want to see us you have to come to SLC. Truth is we just can't afford to fly into Idaho Falls. I am very excited though! It still gives us the chance to see everyone! I can't leave a post without pictures of my boys so here they are...
Braxton trying to get the on/off button on the computer. It is blue and so appealing to him.
Taylor
He played with this chair for a good 30 minutes. We always say he is our thinker and he was seriously trying to figure this chair out. And yes, he always has that dang binki! I always take it from him bcause he doesn't need it but he always seems to find one and gets it back in his mouth! Braxton trying ot pull the computer off its stand. He is going to be my little trouble maker! Good thing he is darn cute and knows how to get out of trouble. He already knows how to work me! Just smile and giggle :-)

Tagged- My hubby!!

I have read of few of these and thought it was so fun! I love my hubby and so here are a few facts about him! (I don't have a picture of the two of us since the boys were born! Hmmm, need to get on that one!!)

How long have you been together? Justin and I started dating the summer after he graduated high school which was 2000. He took me to the last dance of the year "as friends" and we ended up dating. Who would have thought.

How long did you date? We started dating a week after the dance. So from June 2000 through the summer. He went off to college at Utah State and I finished my senior year of high school. We dated while he was gone (through phone, interent, mail, and weekends he was home) He came home for the summer to prepare to leave on his mission. He left on his mission in August 2001 and once again we "dated" as much as we could with him being in Brazil. (and on a mission) He came home the last week in March 2003 due to severe illness. We picked up where we left off and we were engaged May 17 (he told me that) and married August 2, 2003. (that date is 2 weeks before he was actually supposed to come home from his mission. It all worked out nicely for a summer wedding and going back to school in the Fall).

How old is he? 25 1/2

Who eats more? He does most the time. When I was pregnant though, watch out! I could eat!

Who said "I love you" first? I'm sure he did but I don't remember it. Opps! :-)

Who is taller? Justin is 6"2' and I am only 5"5'ish

Who sings better? Neither of us sing but I would say he sounds better at church

Who is smarter? He totally is!

Who does the laundry? We both do. He is so good at helping me. Especially folding cause I hate folding laundry. He doesn't put it away though.

Who does the dishes? Once again we both do. He really is a good guy.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? When we are laying in bed he is on the right side, but if you are looking at our bed straight on, I do because it is closer to the door, therefor closer to the boys.

Who pays the bills? We both do. He takes them out of the budget and I pay them online or write out the check.

Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn now but he used to when we lived in a house.

Who cooks dinner? I do. Justin helps when he is home but I usually have it done when he gets home from school. Justin can't wait for summer to come though so he can start grilling again. He cooked all summer (which was so nice cause thats when the babies came). Justin does make a mean batch of cookies though! YUM!

Who is more stubborn? HE IS! I am not just saying that cause I am writing this. Sorry babe!

Who kissed who first? He did. He always makes fun of me though becasue I don't remember it. I have a really bad memory! I can't remember dates.

Who asked who out? He did. It was to a dance and in Idaho you just didn't ask the person to the dance. You had to be creative and he was! He put CRISCO on my car and under the handles! YUCK! It didn't come off for soooo long! It probably is still there. Sorry to who ever has that car now :-) I don't remember how he asked, just that my car was soooo gross! Who raised that kid?

Who proposed? He did. We were already planning the wedding and the ring was picked out. We drove down to Logan for the day to find an apartment and when we came home his mom called him into the office. We got the ring in SLC and it had come in the mail that day. He came back out, didn't say anything to me, found his brother and went and moved the hammock to the perfect spot. (why the hammock? we always laid on that watching the stars and talking) By this time I knew what was going on and he took me out back and asked me in his parents backyard,on the hammock. Maybe not so romantic but it was perfect to me!!

Who is more sensitive? I am for sure! I am a baby when it comes to being home sick, watching sad movies and so on.

Who has more friends? I do. Not that he isn't lovable and a great friend. I am friends with all his friends and that is not that case with my friends. (not that he doesn't like them, he just doesn't know them)

Who has more siblings? We both have 4.

Who wears the pants in the relationship? Depends on the situation. He does for certain things and I do for others.

Who are you tagging? Em, Sar, Mom, Kim, Amy, Leslie, Katie, Kylee, Talia, Rachel. Is that enough?? Any I missed out on I tag you too!

Little Studs

Taylor loves to wear his daddy's hat.
If you are wondering that is Braxton's head he has a hold of.
Hi brother!
Braxton is our little mover. He is so fast! He was under the chair in no time.
Then he found the cords from the computer.
Cheese!

Out to lunch

Yesterday Justin and I decided to go out to lunch. We don't get to do it often and it was nice to get out of the house with my little family. The boys always get a lot of attention where ever we go and they are starting to smile at people. Most the time they won't smile at a stranger. The pictures aren't great but they are the best I could get. :-) Braxton

Mommy's Little Helper

Taylor playing in the laundry

4th of July

Yesterday as I found myself feeling bad for not being able to go to California with my mom and sisters, I decided I had to do something fun! (not trying to make you guys feel bad :-) I got out my 4th of July quilt and started working away. I worked on it most of the afternoon, with interuption, but last night as Justin was watching Indiana Jones, I finished the top of my quilt! I'm telling ya, once I start I have to finish! It's so fun! I love it and am so excited to use it this summer!

Yippie!

Knock at my door

It was the UPS man! Yippie! My fabric came today! I love it all and I can't wait to show you what I come up with. It may be a while before you see anything done but it will get done.

Officially done!

My boys and my quilt. It is totally complete now! Binding and all.
I was trying to get pictures when The Backyardigans came on. So much for them looking at the camera anymore.
Cuddles!
We watch The Backyardigans every morning. They love it! I can't get them to take their eyes off the T.V. while it's on.

Thanks Grandma!

We got a fun package in the mail today! My mom sent us a Valentines Day package. I love getting packages. It makes my day! There was lots of fun stuff inside! Cute scrapbook paper, going out to dinner money, candy, animal crackers, a book, and cute PJ's. I gave the boys their first suckers after dinner. Figured after having to eat Garden Veggies a little sucker would be nice! They loved them! Brax sucked that thing down to the stick (or he would have if I would have let him). Taylor would suck his, look at it, suck it again, look at it! Funny boy! We got spoiled! Thanks Grandma and Papa for all you do! We love you!

P.S. Check this out! http://scrapworks.com/Newsletter/SneakPeakCHAW08.html My boys are famous! They made the newsletter for Scrapworks. My talented sister, Emily, put it together! Way to go Em! I love it!
