Island Park- Day 1

We got up to Island Park late Tuesday night and of course all the kids were up bright and early on Wed morning so we headed over to the Golf Course to hit some balls. The boys always love hitting balls with Justin. I even hit a few. BraxtonTaylorThe girls hanging outOh how I love these two!!!

After we were done golfing we went over to the park to play until the rest of the family got to the cabin. The boys loved the big slide.AvesBraxTayCalls

Later in the afternoon we went to Mesa Falls. I have been going to Island Park all my life and have never been there. The boys loved the falls and loved the animals inside the information center. All four of them love it!

9 Month Stats

We went to the Dr today and the girls are growing big... Avri:

20 lbs 10 oz.

28.5 inches tall

head is 46 cm

Macall:

21 lbs and 15 oz

28 inches tall

head is 45 cm

The girls found the toy "fort"

Recently the girls have discovered the toy fort! They love to play in all the toys and pull everything out.

I always like to remember my boys at their cutest.

I am so grateful to have two little boys that always make me smile and keep me laughing.

*Taylor won't eat crust on bread

*Braxton wants to eat Mac N' Cheese every day for lunch

*fell in love with two puppies from Grandma's and so she let them bring them home (she will never get them back cause they love them!) Braxton named his Barky and Taylor named his Fetch.

Sunday Fun

Tonight Evelyn came out for dinner for one last visit before moving to Korea tomorrow. The boys had a blast. They love playing with her and didn't let her slow down the entire time she was here. We had so much fun that the boys were worn out and in bed before 8.(love this picture) tricks on bikes...Yummy treats...playing in the grass...(poor Aves has a bad cold and we think she has an eye infection! it is nasty!) wrestling...summer salts...

Who knew Justin could do a summer salt :-)

Wii

I am not usually a Wii player but Saturday Braxton talked me into it. We played Super Mario and Mario Cart. After a while with each game Braxton would tell me, "We not very good mom!" Nope. We were not very good but we had a great time playing together.

How is this comfortable?

9 months

My sweet babies are 9 months old.

They are so big and doing so many new things
*LOVE food

*love the stairs and are now climbing them

*have fallen down the stairs a few times

* fight over toys

*love Taylor and Braxton

*each have 2 teeth

*size 4 diapers

*6 oz of formula

*eat all kinds of baby food plus whatever we are eating

*hate shoes

* don't like the vacuum

*sleep from 7:30 or 8 to 6:30

*get up way to early for their mom

*wear 12-24 months clothes

*hate their infant car seats

*Aves claps, growls, waves, and throws big tantrums

*Macall jumps from her bum, plays with her tongue, has long thick hair to play with, and will use a normal binki now

We haven't had their 9 month check yet but a couple weeks ago Aves went to the Dr and she weighed 20 lbs. Macall is right there with her if not more.

We love you sweet little babes and even though life is crazy we wouldn't have it any other way!

Friends

Shilo was here this week from Spokane so all us used to be Sponakites (is that a word?) got together for an afternoon of fun and craziness. Before we left Spokane there were only 6 kids between the four of us. Now we have almost doubled that with 11. The kids had fun playing and us gals had fun catching up. I hope its not another year before we see you all again!Bottom to top:

Shilo, Javin, and Gatlin stayed at our house for a couple days. The boys had fun playing together and the boys kept telling me all about "their friend". We got all the kiddos to sleep early last night and headed out for a night on the town. HA! We drove around and ended up at Chili's for fries and dessert. Justin stayed behind and had all 6 kids under control. Good thing they were sleeping!

7 years

Yesterday Justin and I celebrated 7 years of marriage. Life has been great with that guy! He always keeps me laughing and I love him more then ever. He is a great dad, husband, and such a hard worker. So greatful to have him!

Friday at the pool

I took the kids to the pool on Friday and they all had a great time. The boys love playing with their kick boards and it was even better that no one else was at the Splash Pool. The girls love the water too!The girls were not content sitting on the side of the pool so they are ready to go!After swimming we went to get sno cones. First time all summer! The boys loved them!

We drove past the park on the way home and the boys just had to stop! It didn't last very long because they got too hot!
