Afternoon at the zoo

Today turned out to be a beautiful, sunny winter day so we decided to pick Justin up from work and go to the zoo. We went to Wendy's for lunch and headed there. The kids requested all of these pictures be taken. Thanks guys!!

On Saturday we went to the kids Number 1 place in Idaho Falls, besides Grandma's houses.

Christmas 2013

Christmas morning we woke up to a phone call from Aunt Jalayne letting us know that Elliott was ready for Christmas. All the kids were still sleeping but at least we made it to 6:30.

 We meandered into Grandma and Grandpa's room and in all the excitement Grandma told everyone to jump on the bed. As she did the bed broke. The timing couldn't have been better.

 The kids were excited about all they got and had a great morning.

We headed over to Grandma and Paps Merrill's house Christmas afternoon and we were all spoiled with more gifts. Macall hid herself in the piles of wrapping paper.

Lucky girls got their first American Girl dolls and couldn't be happier.

Christmas Eve

We got up bright and early and headed to Idaho Falls to spend Christmas. We got to Hatch's and put on our Christmas hats and walked to the door where an unsuspecting Grandma got a Christmas surprise. We were all there for Christmas!! She was really excited and then exclaimed, "We don't have any food!" Dan was in on the surprise so he and Jalayne quickly ran to the store to finish shopping for Christmas Eve Dinner. 

 After all the festivities of the day we opened our Christmas PJ's and sent the kids to bed. They all fell asleep so fast, worn out from the fun day.

We decided that this wasn't going to fit going to Grandma's house so the boys got an early delivery. 

 That afternoon we went out to Red Robin, thanks Grandma and Papa. Since it was the Holiday break the kids got to choose their own drinks and order whatever they wanted. THe girls stuck with chocolate milk and the boys had Dr. Pepper. They thought that was pretty funny.

 After lunch we went to the movie. The girls saw Frozen and the boys went to Walking with Dinosaurs.
