Our weekend

Saturday while Justin was golfing I took the boys out to the play ground to "release their wiggles". We played in the tunnels, on the slide, and ate rocks. What fun! As we were coming back home the boys found puddles and the standing water in the pretend creek we have here. They threw rocks, jumped in the water and did head stands in the water. They loved it!

Justin was also nice enough to let me have some time to myself this weekend. What a great dad! He played with the boys while I went out Friday and Saturday night with friends. Girls why don't we do that more! It was so refreshing to be alone and have no responsibility for a few hours. We all agreed that each week we are going to find time to go out by ourselves and remember that we are people too! We used to do girl things but usually had to take the kids with us. Thanks Justin for letting my have a time out! I love time outs! :-)

Pizza Pizza

Yesterday we wanted to do something fun with the kids so we made pizzas. The boys just wanted to eat it all before we cooked it but Ava did really well putting her pizza together. I even made the crust and it turned out so yummie! Brax making his pizza with Amy's helpTaylor did his all by himselfAva putting sauce on her pizza

In the Pot

Tonight while I was making dinner Taylor was having a major break down. I see Brax coming down the hall with Taylor's favorite blanket and he handed it to him. It was so sweet. Brax is so concerned about his big bro. He brings him his binki when he thinks he needs it, now his blanket, and shares his drinks and food. It is so fun watching them interact and be so caring. I love my little guys!
Onto a naughty story...
I knew my boys were being way to quiet. I was enjoying reading your blogs and realized I hadn't heard the little ones in a while. When they are in their room they are usually fine so I get up to check on them and see tht my bedroom door is open. As I get closer I hear little giggles coming from the bathroom. OH NO!!! They were having a great time! The damage was done so I grabbed my camera and got the little guys! They were so mad that I stopped them and took them to take a bath.

Apple Pie

The other night Justin decided he wanted an apple pie. We got the recipe and this is what we got. It was soooooo good! I cheated on the crust a bought a Pillsbury one so it wasn't as good as it could have been but it was still pretty darn good. And I was so impressed that I actually made it! The crust wasn't so pretty, how do you make the edges all pretty?
This week I am planning on making strawberry and raspberry jam and home made bread. Little Betty Crocker on our hands :-)

Taylor and Braxton

Just some random pictures of my boys. Sporting new pj's and sitting in our new favorite spot (behind the table by the heater. Not good for winter.) and p.s. don't enlarge the pictures because they both have been sick and have NASTY noses.
My boys would not nap today so after an hour of listening to them I went in and found Brax sitting like this. I ran and got my camera and got the picture before he got up.
A little sneak peak of my cute cowboys. Taylor loved the hat and boots. He had the biggest grin the whole time he had them on. Brax on the other hand...
Braxton's favorite pose.

We have been pretty boring lately. We have been trying to use up these last few warm days for walks but there are no pictures to post about that so here are a few other pictures. Taylor Justin caught Taylor just hangin out on the bean bag watching a little football. Made his daddy proud.

Brax loves trying to put his shoes on so tonight he decided mine would be more fun.

Spokane County Fair

After a big day of football watching and BBQ at our house we all headed out to the Spokane County Fair. We had some more yummie food and went to the Compact Car Derby. It was lots o fun and even Tay and Brax had a good time watching the cars bash into each other. Hatch Family

We all picked a car to cheer for and whose ever car won, they got a soda of their choice. Big time gamblers. Out of 11 cars and 10 people, the one left over car was the winner. No soda for us! :-)These were the final two cars. The blue one ended up winning.
