Proud Mom moment

We were getting ready for a little quiet time and Taylor was drawing on this doodle pad. Pretty soon he said, "Look mom, a letter Q!!" Braxton had to have a turn and he drew a Q too. They were so excited and so proud of themselves. They have been playing with a Leapster letter game a little too much lately but hey, it taught them how to write the letter Q!!! They also know their address, phone number, full names, and Mom and Dad's names. I love seeing them learn and grow, although the growing up is happening way fast. Way to go my smart boys!
After weeks without my computer I have finally decided I will just blog on Justin's computer. My computer won't connect to the internet anymore so it is useless to me. We have been pretty busy the last few weeks trying to get insurance money for the car and enjoying the warm weather so late in the year.
This little girl thinks she should be walking. She still falls but she is very determined to figure out this walking thing. Macall on the other hand is content with crawling. She is super fast. The boys are filling their days with football and playing at the park. The weather is great right now although we are ready for Fall.
This is called "parking" the football for a kick off. Then the kick. It's good!!! I took Brax grocery shopping with me the other night and Taylor stayed home to play some football with his dad. Justin tried to tell Taylor that it was getting too dark and they needed to go inside but he insisted that the street light was all he needed. We love it when Lyla comes to play! They were having cookies on the counter and discussing how Lyla doesn't like peanut butter and how Braxton likes his with apples and Taylor kinda likes it. Love listening to 3 year olds talk!

Cute brothers! They are best friends, most of the time!

Worst Nightmare

I always fear that Justin will call me on his commute and tell me he has been in an accident. Last night was just that. We were driving home from Logan and I was a couple blocks a head of him when he called me saying he had just been hit. I flipped a couple illegal u turns and headed back to where he was waiting on the side of the road. It was a hit and run involving a drunk driver who was caught like 20 minutes after he hit Justin. Justin is fine but the car isn't. The tow truck driver said he would be surprised if it could be fixed. So now we are sitting ducks until Monday when we can contact the other drivers insurance company and get Justin a rental car until we find out the status of his car. It was a scary accident but we are so grateful that Justin wasn't hurt at all.

Family Pictures

Amber took these awesome pictures for us when we were in Idaho last week! They turned out great!! I have been wanting family pictures for a while now and yesterday was wild and crazy and a good hair day :-) Justin got home late, the kids were grumpy, and I wanted pictures done so we did them. Thanks Em for dealing with our craziness and getting some cute pictures.
(Amber will you edit these for me??) :-)

Island Park

We spent last week up in Idaho and had a blast. We headed up to Island Park on Friday and spent the day in West Yellowstone getting yummie treats and checking out the stores. The rest the weekend was spent on the 4 wheelers and jet skies and playing at the cabin. We love Island Park! Taylor and Braxton
