Round 2 at the Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went back to the pumpkin patch a picked out a big one for carving. The boys were on the search for the biggest one they could find. Macall still wasn't feeling great but she liked picking up the small pumpkins and throwing them back down. Avri loved all the of them and was running from on pumpkin to the next.

After about 10 minutes of looking we found a big pumpkin that the kids decided to bring home.

Preschool Field Trip

 For preschool yesterday we went on a field trip to the Petersen Farm. The kids got to go on a hayride, check out the goats, and picked out pumpkins. They had a great time but it sure was hard picking out the perfect pumpkin.

I had to document that I got Justin out of the house (and in public) on a Saturday afternoon in the Fall. It helped that the Michigan game started at 5:00. We went to the dollar movie and saw Kung Fu Panda 2 which we all loved.

Sugar Cookies

On Friday we decided we needed something to do. I had all the right ingredients for sugar cookies so sugar cookies we made. The girls loved it! The boys loved eating the dough. So much like their father.

 Macall had flour every where. Avri kept trying to wipe it off her face.

The best part was decorating and eating them even though we didn't have Halloween colors to match our Halloween cookies.

Hollywood Connection

A couple of months ago I got some great discounted tickets to a place called Hollywood Connection. On Friday the tickets expired so I thought I should probably use them! Em and her boys came along and we had a good time riding the rides. Avri is definitely the most brave child I have! She LOVED it all! Macall did ok until the very end but she was so exhausted and grumpy. Tay and Brax loved the golfing and they have finally decided riding the carousel isn't so bad when you sit on the bench.

Last week we went to the fire station with the boys preschool class. They thought it was great! They loved climbing in and out of the truck, driving the truck, and seeing the fireman. The girls weren't too sure about everything but they were good.

Family Picture

So I ordered a new family picture. I like the way it turned out. It was probably the only one in 300 pictures :-) My kids are so hard to get to smile!

A few nights ago I gave the kids glow sticks to play with in the bath. They loved it even though you couldn't relaly see them through the bubbles. And obviously I can't take pictures with no light :-)

The girls do ok with their big beds. Napping is awful so I just turn the cribs against the wall so they can't get out and then move them back for bed time. They do pretty good at night, except when the fall out! Every night we hear a big thud and guess which one it is :-) Macall usually sleeps through it and Avri usually waked up wondering what happened. Crazy girls!
