Saturday, Disney on Ice

May 7

We went to see Disney on Ice. On our way to the arena the boys fell asleep. They were so tired from all the playing at the beach the previous day!
When we got there all the boys cared about was getting a snack but the show was about to start so we had to wait until intermission.
The boys loved Woody and Buzz
Mickey ears that came with out cotton candy (they did not like the cotton candy at all!!)
Brax wouldn't put on the ears for me!

Day 2 at the Beach

Sarah's house is just a few miles from the beach. What a great place to live!
The boys were cautious about the ocean but it didn't take the too long to get into it. I hope these pictures are from the right days!

Some times I complain about my life. Having two sets of twins is not easy and some times I go a little crazy. Some days are harder then others. Some days I just want to cry. And then there are days that they make me so happy that I can't believe I am lucky enough to be their mom. I don't need gifts, or flowers, or money (ok, money might be nice) this Mother's Day. I am grateful to be a mom to 4 great kids and that is good enough for me.
Love them all!!
P.S. Happy Mother's Day to my Mom and Mother in Law. Love you both!

18 months

What can I say that I already haven't said about these two girls! They make me crazy but I can't help but smile at their cute, SPUNKY, personalities. They can't stay out of the garbage! For some reason it is their favorite place to play, and eat. Yes, I find them eating out of the garbage! SICK! They love to jump, play ring around the rosie (falling down is their favorite part), bump down the stairs, and LOVE their blankies! They follow and play with the boys. Most the time the boys love the attention.

Avri has a major attitude and can glare like no one I have ever seen. She loves her binki and cries for it all day long it is not in her mouth. She loves to play with babies, animals, cars, the kitchen, and loves to "sit down" on big chairs. She talks all the time. She loves shoes and can put her sandles on by herself. She loves high heals and when ever my closet door is open she finds a pair and puts them on. She hates when I do her hair and pulls it out at least 3 times a day.

Macall is quiet and sweet although when she wants something she will let you know with her high pitched squeal! She is small and fiesty. She grunts when she wants something and will sign more for anything she wants. Her dark brown hair is getting lighter and her eyes still have a lot of blue in them, especially her left eye. She likes to cuddle and you can always find her nose up to her blanket for comfort. She likes to play with animals, babies, the shopping cart, and anything that anyone else has.

You girls bring so much joy into our home! We love you!!!

Over the weekend Justin and Amber taught Avri "knuckles". When she is not being shy she will give you knuckles and say "kuckles". She puts both of her fists in knuckles and holds them out to you. Super cute.

Macall wont put her hands in knuckles but she says "kuckles" and hits your hands then laughs.
After I got my camera out to try and get pictures of knuckles Macall sat down and smiled and said cheese.

Motocross 2011

We went to the AMA Motocross last night at Rice Eccles Stadium. The boys LOVED it and were in heaven! We had great seats (Thanks Grandma and Papa Merrill) and the boys loved the noise, the cycles, and the food. This is the second year in a row that we have gone and I think it is going to be a yearly tradition. Maybe next year we can go back to Vegas where it is warm. The pictures of the racers are pretty blurry but thats what we got.

Ryan Villapoto (he won and is who my boys love!)
Ryan Dungey. The boys also really like him
Can't wait to do it again next year! :-)

Kids

These two can not wait to go to Tecas (Texas)! They found their goggles with their swim suites and haven't taken the off all week. We can't wait to get there!
The girls like to "bump" down the stairs and this week they have started helping each other out! They hold hands as they come down. Love it!
