Motocross 2012

We love ourselves some good motocross. This year we were a little disappointed that all the riders we like to watch were out hurt. We still had a great time and found riders to cheer for. The girls even got to come to their first race. They didn't like it at first but after a quick cat nap they found the cycles entertaining.
Cutest boys with their hats over their hearts for the national anthem

Callers fell asleep and we laid out the blanket and let her sleep there until someone had to walk past us.
Silly boys found their favorite treat. Popcorn!

Dungey won the race after a battle from third place. The boys always love Dungey and were so excited he won.
So back up. We started out with shopping at City Creek but since blogger messes with my pictures they are at the bottom. These two girls made out pretty well for the fact that we were going to leave them home. We needed the baby sitter a little earlier and things just were not working out. Grandma called the stadium to find out that kids 3 and under were free for the races so we packed up their stuff and they got to come. we ended up at Nordstrom in the kids shoes. The girls pulled all the Tom's off the shelf and were trying on every pair! They were in shoe heaven. They picked out pink sparkle shoes and when the man brought them to try on Callers held out her foot for him to put it on! Hilarious girl! They LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! Thanks Grandma and Papa!!

The girls absolutely love their Papa! They are his two little shadows and do whatever Papa does. Justin picked up donuts and as we sat to eat Avri moved her chair to be right by Papa.
We had a great weekend but we missed Justin and Amber but they were a little busy with this little babe. Pretty little Hannah Mae Merrill born April 25. She is cute as can be and we love her already.

As crazy as I seem to be lately I can't help but be grateful today! A little boy from our ward passed away yesterday from drowning in the bathtub. He was 6 years old. I look at my boys and can't even imagine life without them. The family lives three houses down from us and on Tuesday night we heard firetrucks and the ambulance. We couldn't believe it when they stopped at their door. We watched in horror as they carried him out of the house and the parents frantically driving behind the ambulance to the hospital. I am grateful for my little family and have been holding them tighter and worrying less about the little things that have happened over the last few days. Our ward is amazing! It's pretty amazing to see a Ward family get together as they have to support a family in need. I'm  grateful for the knowledge we have of eternal families and hope we can serve this family in any way that we can.

Forgotten post form Friday

After the gym we needed Cafe Rio and a picnic. The kids love Cafe Rio and I rarely say no to a good meal. While we were at Cafe Rio in line a few ladies commented on how well behaved the kids were. And they really were, at least for those 10 minutes. We went to the park, ate lunch, and waited for Grandma Hatch to get here.
We played for a while until Grandma got here and then headed back home. The kids pulled out all their toys! They especially were loving the water toys.
After the girls were soaked they insisted on wearing their princess dresses.

And then we needed to go to the store and I was not going to change them again so we went to Harmon's as princess'.

On Saturday Justin took the boys with him and Uncle Clark for 9 holes of golfing. The boys loved it!! They even walked all nine holes with no complaints. That in itself is amazing!! The girls and I met them after their round for a game of mini golf. The girls thought it was great and when I said it was time to go they grabbed their own clubs and balls and headed to the car. Avri has wanted to go golfing with Justin for a few days and she was so happy that she finally got to go.

Fire Fire

We love having fires at night. The boys love roasting marshmallows.

Good Friends

A couple weeks ago Whit, Ash, and I got together for a night out. We met at Zupas in American Fork. It was the fastest 6 hours of my life. We got to catch up on the last few months of our lives and laughed pretty hard. So happy to have these two friends that have been in my life since grade school.

New New New

We have been talking about a new car for a while and today we did it. I fell in love with the Pilot but we weren't shopping for me. Justin's car had 150,000 miles and we wanted to trade it in before we had to do $1,000 worth of work on it and before it's value decreased further. As we were having our credit checked and all the sales man came back and asked about our car history. They were completely shocked that we didn't have a car loan history. This is the first car we haven't bought from family. It is also our first car payment in 9 years of marriage. I guess we are grown up now.

My Girls

These two are the cutest, most out of control little girls I know. They are wild and crazy but cute as can be. Lately they are full of it. It being everything. They are silly, ornery, sweet, crazy, hyper, loving little ones. They are getting too big. They talk more and more and are so much fun to talk to. They say the funniest things and they have the cutest little voices. Here are a few I can remember right now.
Macall: "Mom, we go get lunch?"
Avri: "I did it" (going potty)
Macall: "I want go with you!"
Avri: "I cozy"
Macall: "Where you going?"
Avri: "Daddy go to work"
Macall: 'We watch Rella"
Avri: "Yuv you!"
We did go to lunch the day Macall asked. I couldn't resist. It was the cutest thing ever!
We watch Rella a lot. It is one thing that can make them happy no matter what!
They thought this was so funny.
Last our little Avri is a big girl!!! She is potty trained. Mostly. She is great at telling me she has to go but still hasn't figured out the pooping part. We are getting there. We started on Monday, April 9. I woke up and just decided we were going to do it. The girls both were doing great and only had a few accidents all day long. We were bribing them with candy, and they would get a baby as soon as they could do it. Around dinner time they both started freaking out about having to sit on the potties. Good thing bed time was close and we were done for the day. Tuesday they continued to freak out about going so I put them both in diapers and took the day off. I didn't want it to be a bad experience so we stopped. Wed I geared up for round 2 and after the first 5 minutes I put Macall back in diapers and just trained Avri. She is doing great and gets so excited about going. She was scared at first but now tells me she needs to go. We have only had a few accidents and its only been when I wasn't with her. We are working on the pooping and today when she went in her underwear she started to cry "That's disgusting " So I am hoping that will help.  Macall has been asking to go potty so I am hoping she won't be to far behind. I have never had only one child in diapers. Kinda nice!!

Easter Outfits

The girls were not thrilled with having pictures taken. And they wouldn't keep in their hair bows. Oh well. We got some ok pictures.
